Information Law with Charles Oppenheim
It was a pleasure and privilege to host a talk by Professor Charles Oppenheim on Information Law last night.
Charles is a highly-regarded expert in the increasingly-complex area of information law. He covered an enormous range of issues during the evening from, data protection to disability discrimination to whether or not emails constitute a contract.
His ability to illustrate even the most complex issue with an engaging anecdote helped everyone to understand the context and implications of each aspect of information law.
One of our aims of hosting these talks is to enable smaller organisations to gain access to information management expertise, and we couldn’t have wished for a more capable speaker than Charles on these tricky issues. Expertly fielding questions from every type of organisation, and on every information law issue, he was a brilliant example of the expertise within the information profession.
