OneIS

Website relaunch

Earlier this week we relaunched our website. Thanks for all the encouraging comments we’ve had about the redesign.

We thought hard about how we could help our website visitors to easily understand OneIS.

Although we loved the clean look of our previous design, we didn’t think it did enough to excite people about what a dynamic and innovative product we were building.

We’ve used the slideshow on the homepage to illustrate the reasons to use OneIS. We chose images with a jig-saw theme as OneIS is about pulling together all your bits of information and making better sense out of them.

For the rest of the site we wanted to shift the focus to the product and away from our company. Each page on the left hand navigation guides you through one of the main ways you’re likely to use OneIS.

Following the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, we’ve used lots of screenshots and reduced most of the text to bullet points.

But sometimes when you’re researching a product you just want to have a simple guide to all the features. That’s exactly what All features provides. We’ve listed all the main features of OneIS in simple bullet point style.

The new site has now been up for two days. We’ve noticed an immediate change in visitor patterns. Visitors are staying longer and looking at far more pages. We’re particularly pleased to see a marked increase in views of the pages describing the product itself. I hope the site gives all our visitors a better understanding of what OneIS can do to help them.

Now, we just need to work on the screencast tour. Coming soon…
