Supported web browsers
OneIS is designed to work with any standards compliant web browser, and be generally accessible with assistive technologies.
We guarantee all features will be available on the following web browsers:
- Firefox 3.0 and above
- Safari 3.2 and above
- Internet Explorer 7 and 8
Internet Explorer 6 is partially supported (see below).
Our aim is universal compatibility. If you have problems with the current version of any other web browser, please contact Support through your OneIS, and we’ll do our best to help.
Internet Explorer 6
Due to the age and poor quality of Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), we only offer partial support. OneIS is tested on IE6 as we recognise that our clients may occasionally need to use OneIS on a computer which only has IE6 available. However, we do not support it as a browser for day to day use.
In particular,
If you regularly use Internet Explorer, please consider upgrading to a modern browser.
Settings for successful file downloads in IE6
If you are having problems downloading files while using IE6:
- Choose Tools then Internet Options... from the menu
- Select the Advanced tab
- Scroll down the list until you see the Security heading
- Make sure that Do not save encrypted pages to disk is unchecked. (This option is not enabled by default)
