Customisation
OneIS can be customised to match your organisation’s specific needs. This includes:
- Types – what kinds of information are stored, customising how it’s displayed and which attributes are included
- Attributes – what data is stored for each type, and how the bits of information are related together
- Qualifiers – extra detail for each attribute
- Semantic searching – how the relationships between types of information are used to produce relevant search results
- Taxonomies – for classifying and browsing information
- Sections – to split information into logical groups
- Search subsets – for restricting searches to a group of sections
- User groups and finely grained permissions for operations on sections – control access to the information
- Email templates – for customising the look and content of emails sent from the system
- Branded appearance – including logo and system colours
These features can be used to build custom information systems and intranet/extranets in a fraction of the time taken with traditional tools.
We recommend that users start with our default schema to get familiar with the system. When ready, we can help you customise your OneIS to precisely represent the information in your organisation. Contact us for more details.
