About the team

Ben

Ben Summers is the co-founder and technical lead for OneIS, designing, building, and supporting the application and network.

Ben has been working in IT for over twelve years. He started off in web development as the web was beginning to take hold. He was one of the very first people in the UK to build interactive websites, and has been getting the most out of the web for clients ever since. He’s developed desktop applications, built large-scale servers, and used more computer platforms than he cares to count. Ben has created and launched several open source products now in use throughout the world.

But it’s not about the technology for Ben. It’s about building things for people which make their lives easier and help their businesses prosper.

Ben is a mathematics graduate from the University of London and a chartered member of the British Computer Society.

Jennifer

Jennifer Smith is the co-founder of OneIS, focusing on information management design and supporting clients. Jennifer has over ten years experience in library and information management. She is obsessed with efficiency and improving business through better information management.

Jennifer is a history graduate from the University of London. She holds a Masters in Information and Library Studies with distinction from Loughborough University, and a Diploma in Management. She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, a member of the Special Libraries Association, co-founder of the London Information and Knowledge Exchange, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Joe

Joe Gillespie has enjoyed an illustrious career in marketing and web design. He has been at the frontier of web design since web design began. From 1996 to 2005 he published the website, Web Page Design for Designers, writing prolifically on the challenges of web page design to a worldwide audience. Joe’s vast experience and talent has created the OneIS visual design and ensured the system is compatible on multiple browsers.

Ian provides our data conversion and import services. With over twenty years experience in data handling and incredible attention to detail, Ian ensures our client’s data arrives in their OneIS looking better than ever before.
